Anja Juršetić is a lawyer and senior partner at the Law firm JURŠETIĆ & PARTNERS Llc, based in Zagreb, Croatia. She graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Zagreb and further expanded her knowledge at the Università di Milano-Bicocca where she was a Graduate Student Researcher at Postconflict Transitional Justice course (lec. A.Myriam Roccatello) for the International Center for Transitional Justice (New York, USA). During her studies, she also participated as a researcher for the Council of Europe on the topic of "Online Hate Speech" for Croatia.
She holds a judicial exam and received rare recognition from the professional examination committee with the highest scores on the judicial exam and special commendation from the examination board. Despite being very young, Anja strives to break myths about law as a predominantly male profession. More precisely, Anja is a managing partner at Visegrad+ legal, a network of independent middle-sized law firms operating throughout the entire EU region of Central and Eastern Europe, represented in Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia and Croatia.
In addition to her legal practice, Anja is involved in academic work in the Republic of Croatia. She writes for various reputable professional journals and portals such as IusInfo, RRIF, and Ženial, addressing legal topics in the fields of labor law, intellectual property, and obligatory relationships.
